This policy explains what Snap Tool Suite ("we", "us") collects when you use snaptoolsuite.com and our tools, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create a free account we collect your first name, last name, and email address, plus a securely hashed password (handled by our authentication provider — we never see your plaintext password).
- Usage data. We collect usage data (such as tools used, frequency, and feature interactions) to operate, secure, and improve SnapToolSuite. This may include the tools you open, actions like downloading a PDF or copying an embed, your approximate device/browser type, and — for embedded tools — the website domain the tool is embedded on.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we keep a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status.
- Things you enter into tools. The values you type into a calculator or generator are processed in your browser. We do not store the contents of your calculations unless you explicitly send them to us (for example, by emailing yourself results or contacting support).
- Local storage & cookies. We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Some pages also show ads through Google AdSense, which — along with its partners — uses cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads (see Advertising below).
How we use your information
- To provide your account and the tools, and to keep you signed in.
- To operate, secure, and improve SnapToolSuite — including understanding which tools are useful and fixing problems.
- To process subscriptions and send transactional messages (receipts, account and security notices).
- To send product updates and tips only if you opt in (see below).
Marketing emails
Marketing emails are sent only to people who opt in during signup or in their account settings. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email — this does not affect essential account or billing messages.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Snap Tool Suite, under their own terms:
- Supabase — authentication and database (account data, usage events).
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and content delivery.
- Google AdSense — advertising on some pages (see Advertising below).
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or our service.
Advertising
Some pages on SnapToolSuite display ads served by Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service. To serve and measure those ads, third-party vendors — including Google — use cookies, web beacons, and identifiers such as your IP address to collect information as a result of ad serving on this site. Google may use these cookies to serve ads to you based on your prior visits to SnapToolSuite and other websites (interest-based advertising).

Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records (for example, billing records) to meet legal obligations.

- Opt out of marketing emails at any time.
- Request a copy or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
Security
We use reputable providers and standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Snap Tool Suite is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
