How it works
Many of our tools include a related product or service recommendation (for example, a mortgage calculator may link to a rate-comparison service, or a pool calculator to a pool-supply retailer). When that link is an affiliate link and you act on it, the partner pays us a referral commission. We participate in programs such as the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, CJ Affiliate, and other affiliate networks and direct merchant programs.
Our promise
- No extra cost. You never pay more because of an affiliate link.
- Relevance first. We only add a recommendation when it's genuinely relevant to what the tool helps you do. We aim to point you to reputable, useful partners — but a commission is one reason a particular partner appears, so always do your own research before buying or signing up.
- Clearly marked. Affiliate links carry a
rel="sponsored"attribute and a short "we may earn a commission" note where they appear. - Your results are yours. Affiliate links never affect the numbers a tool calculates — the math is the same whether or not you click anything.
