(brew, cloud, fit) and it assembles dozens of brandable name
variations using five proven naming techniques, then ranks them by a brandability heuristic and —
if you opt in — annotates each with live .com / .io / .co availability. The whole thing
runs in your browser; name generation needs no network, no signup, and stores nothing.

The blend technique spots the shared and seam and overlap-merges the two words into
Brandroid (9 chars — the Travelocity move). Alongside it the suffix bank adds
Brandly and Brandhq, the prefix bank adds GetBrand and
TryBrand, and — with a single short word like brand — the r
suffix would give Brandr. Shorter, vowel-balanced names like Brandly tend to
score above the longer blends, since the score penalizes every character past 7 and a Modern-style
suffix earns a bonus. With availability on, a name's row shows a red .com taken chip and —
depending on the registry — a green .io available chip. That tells you the brand is
registrable on a startup-friendly TLD right now; it does not tell you the name
is free of trademarks.

Not trademark clearance. An open .com is not the right to use a name. A name can have a free domain yet be a registered trademark in your class. Always run a USPTO/TESS (or local registry) trademark search and a state business-entity search first.
Availability is point-in-time. A domain shown "available" can be registered seconds later (or front-run). It is a signal, not a reservation — register promptly to be sure.
RDAP over DNS. We use RDAP registration data, not a DNS A-record lookup — a registered-but-parked domain has no DNS records and would falsely look "free". RDAP is the stronger signal.
"Taken" means registered, not unobtainable. A domain can be registered and for sale on the aftermarket; "taken" only means someone holds it today.
Graceful degradation. If RDAP is blocked by CORS or offline, every name still renders and the status shows "unknown / Check ↗". The tool's core value — generation — never depends on the network.

With the toggle on, the tool queries RDAP over HTTPS for the top-ranked names: 404 means unregistered (green "available"), 200 means registered (red "taken"). It is throttled and limited to the top 10; every other name has its own Check button.
RDAP can be blocked by CORS, offline, rate-limited (429), or absent for a TLD. When the result isn't a clear 404/200 for a TLD we know has RDAP, we mark it "unknown" and give you a Check link rather than guessing.
A 0–100 heuristic used only to sort — favoring 5–8 chars, a balanced vowel ratio, and no harsh consonant clusters, with a small style-match bonus. It does not predict success or legal safety.
