Guide: build a day-by-day travel itinerary
What it does
This generator turns a jumble of flight times, hotel bookings, and "things we want to do" into a clean, printable day-by-day itinerary — the kind you can save as a PDF, carry on your phone, and share with everyone on the trip. You fill in the trip details and add days; under each day you drop in timed (or all-day) lines for flights, check-ins, activities, reservations, and notes. The document on the right updates live, and a single Print / Save PDF button produces a tidy, share-ready file. Free, no signup, private in your browser.
How to use it
Fill in the trip title, destination, travelers, and (optionally) a start date so each day is dated automatically.
Click Add a day, then Add item within it for each flight, check-in, activity, or meal.
Give each line a time (or leave blank for all-day) and a short description.
Click Print / Save PDF to export, or Copy share link to send it to your group.
Worked example
A "Lisbon Long Weekend" starting Fri:
Day 1 (Fri) — 09:40 Flight TP123 to LIS · 13:00 Check in, Alfama Hotel · 16:00 Walking tour · 20:00 Dinner, Time Out Market.
Day 3 (Sun) — 11:00 Check out · 12:30 Lunch in Sintra · 18:20 Flight TP124 home.
Add the start date and the generator labels each day with its actual calendar date and weekday, then you save the whole thing as a one-page PDF to share. Add or remove days and items freely — there's no limit.
Tips for a great itinerary
Put times on the moving parts (flights, tours, reservations) and leave free time un-timed so the day breathes.
Include confirmation numbers right in the description line — "Hotel check-in (conf. 8842)".
One destination per trip reads cleanly; for multi-city, note the city in the day's first line.
Don't over-schedule. Two or three anchor activities a day plus meals is plenty for most trips.
Fully client-side — nothing leaves your browser; the share link encodes the itinerary into the URL itself.
Common mistakes this tool prevents
A messy notes-app list nobody else can read — this prints clean and dated.
Forgetting departure flight times because they're buried in an email.
Packing the schedule so tight there's no slack for delays or wandering.
No shareable copy for the rest of the group.
How to embed this tool on your website
No account, no coding. Copy the embed code and paste it where you want it to appear:
Add the trip details, then go day by day adding timed lines for flights, check-ins, activities, and meals. This generator builds a clean printable document from those lines.
What should it include?
Dates and destination, arrival/departure flights with times, where you stay each night, and each day's activities and reservations — plus confirmation numbers and emergency contacts if you like.
Can I print or save as PDF?
