What the ATS readiness score checks

Start at 100, then subtract for the most common parse and quality problems: missing email (−25), missing phone (−10), no work experience (−20), a role missing dates (−5 each, capped) or with no bullets (−5 each, capped), fewer than 5 skills (−10), weak phrasing like "responsible for" / "helped with" / "duties included" (−5 each, capped), and going over the recommended length. ≥85 = Strong, 70–84 = Good, under 70 = Needs work.
